Complaints book (Livro de Reclamações)
Under Portuguese Decree-Law 156/2005 of 15 September, as amended, consumers may file a complaint in the electronic complaints book: livroreclamacoes.pt.
In the event of a consumer dispute, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body (Law 144/2015 of 8 September). For the municipality of Alcobaça, the competent body is CNIACC (Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo), Rua D. Afonso Henriques, 1, 4700-030 Braga, cniacc.pt. Up-to-date list on the Portuguese consumer portal (consumidor.gov.pt).
